ABOUT THE COLLEGE:

Al-Madina College of Education, Was Started from the academic year 1984-85. The College is run under aegis of Madina Educational Society, Mahboobnagar. The Madina Educational Society is a Non-Political and Non-Commercial Society. The main aim of the Society is to uplift the poor students and prepare quality teachers, particularly the youth and women. By the grace of Allah (21) Batched of B.Ed., (13) Batches of M.Ed., and (03) Batches of UPT course have successfully completed the courses. They are now in Govt. & Private Service Sector in good position with reputed social status. So far (3097) students have passed B.Ed. Course (181) students have passed M.Ed. Course and (128) students have passed UPT Course.

Al-Madina College of Education, Mahboobnagar was permitted by the Govt. of A.P. vide proceedings No.429 dated 8-9-1984, to start B.Ed. course with an intake of (200) seats.

The college is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad for B.Ed. and M.Ed. Courses. The college started M.Ed. course from the year 1990-91 for an intake of (20) seats. The Govt. of A.P. has ratified / permitted vide G.O.Ms.No.89, dt.28-02-2000.

The college started Urdu Pandit Training Course for an intake of (50) seats from the academic year 2001-02. The Govt. of A.P. has permitted to start the UPT Course vide Proceedings Rc.No.1985/N-1/2000, dated.12/2001.

The college has got Minority Status Certificate from the Minorities Welfare Department Govt. of A.P. the college is declared as Muslim Minority Institution.

The NCTE Bangalore has accorded recognition to this college for B.Ed. (125) intake capacity, Urdu Pandit Course (50) intake capacity and M.Ed. (20) intake capacity every year. The NCTE accords renewal of recognition on th basis of Performance Appraisal Report (PAR).

Al-Madina College of Education is established in a district which is most backward (Educationally and Economically). The Govt. of A.P. has declared the district as draught area district. The literacy rate of the district is around 30%

The University Grants Commission, (UGC) accorded recognition to the college and included under section 2(f) of the UGC Act under Section 12(b) vide order No.8-16/87 (pp-I) dated 5th February 1994 and received UGC Assistance during X plan under College Development Programme.

The college is permitted by the Govt. of A.P. affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and recognized by NCTE Bangalore. These are the controlling bodies besides the State Council for Education Research & Training (SCERT) Hyderabad and Director of Govt. Examination A.P. Hyderabad also the controlling authorities.

The College has its own Model High School recognized and aided by Govt. of A.P. where the students of B.Ed. and UPT undergo Teaching Practice cum Internship. The college has about (20) Govt. High Schools and Private Schools permitted by the District Educational Officer, Mahboobnagar for teaching practice and internship.

The college has adopted (05) villages for community study. The students of B.Ed. Urdu Pandit take active part in community welfare services under the supervision of the mentors/teacher educator.

The college, some time face challenges like, identifying eligible and suitable staff, training them in the present context, change of syllabus, admissions, coverage of syllabus etc. But college over-comes with these challenges, with help of internal mechanism the college a strong governing body consists of highly educated and qualified members which helps in solving the problems of the college.

Vision:

Al-Madina College of Education, Mahboobnagar was established by Madina Educational Society Mahboobnagar from the academic year 1984-85. It was the first college of education in private sector.

The main purpose of the college was and is to prepare best Teachers.

The vision, is bright future of the young students and the mission is to provide quality education to the student to improve their best teaching with the students for future building and as such the College Management is committed to the educational values in particular and human values in general.

It is an important point that the Madina Educational Society was founded by a Primary School Teacher Janab Ghouse Kari. In-fact he was simple in living by high in thinking as result he led foundation of Educational Society and established number of institutions for KG to PG viz. Madina Public Library, Jamia Arabia Darul-Uloom (Arabic School) Madina Model High School (Aided by Govt. of A.P).

Al-Madina College of Education (B.Ed., M.Ed. & UPT Courses), Al-Madina College of Computer Science for M.C.A. The Institution are functioning in own pukka building and flourishing well day by day. Al the institutions are catering the needs of Society. The mission vision etc., are made known to stake holders through prospectus.

Mission:

The mission of the Society, including the Institution’s Aims and objectives in terms of addressing the needs of the society.

The college addressed for the need of the society for good teacher all the educational need of the future teachers are addressed by the institution.

To start professional courses like B.Ed. M.Ed. and UPT Courses. To eradicate poverty and un-employment.
To provide educational facilities without charging donation and heavy feeses.
